AWMA distributor members should keep the dates of October 25-27, 2010, open to attend the 2010 Distribution Solutions Conference in Tampa, Florida.  AWMA is once again teaming with the International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA), at this great conference.  Designed for decision makers across the distribution industry, this event provides exceptional education and peer-to-peer sharing with insights on distribution center operations, transportation, technology, and human resources. This unique education is combined with an exposition where you can see the latest products and service providers supporting distributor operations.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, January 12 & 13, AWMA’s Scott Ramminger, Bob Pignato and Kathy Trost attended a pre-planning meeting in Tampa with IFDA Staff and members of the IFDA education committee.  During the two days, AWMA and IFDA brainstormed about what sessions should be offered for both IFDA and AWMA members.  In addition, a site tour of the Tampa Convention Center was conducted.  Stay tuned for more information – AWMA will post regular updates.
