7-Eleven Says 1.6M People Have Signed Petitions on Credit, Debit Card Fees

7-Eleven Inc. said Tuesday that its stores and franchise locations have collected more than 1.6 million signatures on petitions calling for Congress to change what the retailer considers excessive credit and debit card transaction fees.  Chief executive Joe DePinto and eight 7-Eleven franchisees will present 15,000 petition booklets to members of Congress next Wednesday in Washington.
