Adults Understand Principles of Healthful Eating

U.S. adults across all generations understand the principles of healthy eating, but while the majority of adults recognize the need to eat healthy, their translation into healthy eating behavior varies by generation. That’s according to a new report by the NPD Group, which finds that older generations eat more healthfully than the younger generations, but still four out of five adults (nearly 170 million people) have a diet whose quality needs improvement.
