American Licorice Company has launched Natural Vines brand licorice, a premium licorice sweetened with molasses and cane syrup. Natural Vines come in two flavors.  The two varieties, Strawberry and Black, both are said to contain pure licorice extract, and with their natural strawberry and anise flavors. The bite-sized twists come in attractive 8oz resealable bags.

Natural Vines are said to contain no high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavorings or preservatives, trans fats, saturated fats, or cholesterol, and are very low in sodium.  American Licorice Company manager of consumer communications Michael Kelly said that Natural Vines are a great alternative to holiday sweets like chocolate and candy canes.  Natural Vines are available in select grocery stores and specialty markets around the US, and a 'Where to Buy' page is provided on the Natural Vines Web site.
