Representatives from AWMA’s Industry Affairs Committee met with executives from Altria Sales and Distribution on Monday, August 16 in Richmond to discuss a wide range of issues ranging from state share targets, to promotional and other issues regarding UST and other non-cigarette products, to opportunities for increased partnership between distributors and Altria.

Representing AWMA at the meeting were Industry Affairs co-chair Barry Margolis, Cooper-Booth Wholesale;  Sherwin Herring, Southco Distributing;  Jode Bunce, Eby-Brown Company, Terry Goddard, Pine State Trading and Scott Ramminger, President & CEO of AWMA.

Representing Altria were Gregg Augustine, director of sales merchandising; Kylie Bishop, manager of trade relations; Lenny Gega, manager of sales merchandising; Jerry Margolis, director of sales merchandising; Scott Myers, vice president of customer service and merchandising; Bob Sears, director of trade relations; Gary Schmidt, senior director of sales logistics and inventory planning; Laura Skarie, senior manager of information management; and Joe Workman, director of retail promotions.
