A crowd of invited guests shopped among 850 different Peeps products – including plush toys, t-shirts, duffels and candy – at the Grand Opening of the Peeps store in Oxon Hill, MD, today at National Harbor on the Potomac River.
AWMA’s Traci Carneal, editor-in-chief of Convenience Distribution (formerly Distribution Channels) was on hand as Just Born executives talked about the company’s dream to open this store and then cut the official ribbon signifying the grand opening.

“It really is a beautiful array of color, excitement and fun,” Carneal said. Just Born clearly put a great deal of thought into this concept, and it really paid off.”  Just Born representatives were joined by some of their industry partners, including Century Distributors Company, Inc., Rockville, MD, and Kathy Corcoran of food broker Burdette Beckmann, Inc.
