Plans are already underway at AWMA to host our annual “Day on the Hill” program in Washington, D.C. on May 12 & 13th (Wednesday & Thursday).  This annual lobbying event has been a great success over the years giving AWMA distributor members an opportunity to meet with their congressional legislators and their staff to discuss issues of importance to our industry.  

The political landscape changed dramatically with the 2008 elections and now with the 2010 mid-term elections looming it is imperative that the distributor voice is heard in Congress.

As always, AWMA will assist our distributor members in making their various appointments and will provide informational materials needed to brief lawmakers and their staff on our issues.  

Please take a moment right now to mark your calendars and plan to attend this unique event in our Nation’s Capitol.  You won’t want to miss this opportunity to meet with your elected representatives in Congress to help promote our industry’s issues with those directly responsible for making the laws affecting your business.
