AWMA Members Convene at Wharton
This week, 50 AWMA distributor members and sponsor manufacturers met at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia to unravel the mystery around the future of the convenience distribution industry. Rather than a crystal ball, Wharton instructors turned to scenario planning, winning strategies, emerging technologies, relationship management, assortment planning, e-commerce, market targeting, execution and more.
After two and a half days of university life, great food, networking, Philadelphia ambiance, and exposure to the finest faculty in the country, AWMA members are leaving Wharton with varied ideas, options for change, and new perspectives on doing business – the tools needed to direct the future rather than letting the future direct them.
