Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) is pushing for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to remove menthol cigarettes from the marketplace. In a letter to FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg, the senator encouraged the agency to continue its follow-up on recommendations from the Tobacco Products Scientific Advisory Committee (TPSAC) regarding menthol cigarettes.
