Cocoa Rallies to One-Week High

Cocoa futures climbed in New York to the highest price in more than a week as unusually heavy rains threatened crops in Ivory Coast, the world’s top producer. The nation’s central-western Daloa region, the biggest growing area, got 86.6 millimeters (3.4 inches) of rain from Sept. 1 to Sept. 10, up from 32 millimeters a year earlier, according to the National Meteorological Service. The chocolate ingredient has fallen 17 percent this year.
