FDA Seeks to Provide Assistance to Small Businesses as the Agency Implements the New Tobacco Law
A recent notice from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) indicates that the agency is working to ensure that small businesses have the guidance necessary as FDA continues to implement the new tobacco law known as the “Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act.” The agency states, “The FDA recognizes that dealing with a large organization can be difficult for small entities. In an effort to help small businesses obtain the guidance they need, the Center for Tobacco Products has a small business assistance program, which we plan to expand as the Agency implements provisions of the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act.
