As part of the recently passed SCHIP reauthorization legislation, all manufacturers, retailers and distributors are required to pay any floor stocks tax due as a result of the increase in the federal excise tax on these tobacco products.  Attached are the forms needed to be completed as part of the 2009 Floor Stocks Tax Return and instructions associated with these returns.

Please note that these returns must be postmarked no later than Friday, July 31, 2009
