Hershey Reaffirms Financial Goals and Announces Collaborative Initiative with Key Retailers

In a presentation at the 2010 Consumer Analyst Group of New York conference, David J. West, President and Chief Executive Officer, The Hershey Company, reviewed progress the Company has achieved in its consumer-driven approach to core brand investment. Building on this, West announced the launch of Insights Driven Performance – IDP – a collaborative initiative with key retail customers that leverages the Company’s deep knowledge of consumer behavior and shopper preferences to deliver profitable confectionery growth.
