68 AWMA distributor members completed the Hershey Industry Performance Analysis (HIPA) Survey this year.  For their efforts, each participant received an individualized Profit Improvement Profile report, a 25 page document comparing the distributor’s firm with similar firms and providing suggestions for improving profitability.  These reports were forwarded on June 11 -- most distributors received the report electronically, but some received it via USPS.

The HIPA Report, funded through the generosity of The Hershey Company, will be mailed to survey participants in August.  This report is a financial and operating profile of the entire industry providing detailed industry benchmarking information. For those companies that did not complete the survey this year — don’t worry, you will have another opportunity next year and survey completion will be even easier as the option of providing the information in EXCEL is being developed!
