IMPORTANT AWMA REAL DEAL EXPO NEWS!
AWMA is undertaking a thorough review of the AWMA Real Deal Expo with a goal of developing a three-year plan to refresh, refocus and re-energize this event. To conduct this analysis and consult with us on recommendations as we move forward, we have retained the services of Jane Berzan, former Sr. Vice President at NACS where she had responsibility for The NACS Show, marketing, supplier relations, the supplier board, global initiatives and served as publisher of NACS Magazine.
We are currently in the first phase of this project and are conducting a series of interviews with dozens of manufacturers and distributors. Our goal is to strengthen and rebuild this event so that it is:
- the premier conference and trade show for distributors and manufacturers;
- an event that is current and relevant;
- an event that effectively brings the industry together for learning, networking and to discuss the latest products and programs.
Since this process will undoubtedly result in the need for some immediate changes, our schedule for producing and mailing the exhibitor prospectus for our 2010 show has been adjusted and the mailing will not go out until late August/early September. In the meantime, please be sure to mark your calendar with the dates for the 2010 AWMA Show, March 10-12, 2010.
We have already received some terrific feedback and new ideas and are eager to share the changes we will be making to help make this event of greater value to all participants. Thank you for your continued participation in the AWMA Show!
