Food industry veteran David Yale, whose background includes marketing candy products made by Nestle Food, is the new president and chief operating officer of Bethlehem candymaker Just Born, the company announced Monday.

Yale previously was chief executive officer of Manischewitz Co. in Secaucus, N.J. He also worked for Nestle Food, where he marketed such candy products as Butterfinger, Baby Ruth, Nestle Crunch, Chunky and Oh-Henry.

Just Born makes Peeps, Hot Tamales, Mike and Ike and other candies. Yale earned an MBA from Columbia University. He lives in Armonk, N.Y., with his wife, Debra, and their three children.
