Planters, personified by its Mr. Peanut brand mascot, is bringing back peanut butter in creamy and crunchy varieties. The last time Planters peddled peanut butter, it was not owned by its current owner, Kraft Foods. Executives at Kraft believe that the product was sold from the early 1950s until around 1980.
