P&G Ad Spending Climbs

Procter & Gamble’s advertising spending in the U.S. climbed by nearly 18 percent in 2010, as it continued to hold down the top spot in Advertising Age’s list of the biggest advertisers. P&G spent $4.6 billion on U.S. media advertising, up 17.9 percent from $3.9 billion in 2009, according to the trade magazine’s annual list.
