University of Maryland Food Defense Study

The University of Maryland is conducting a nation-wide, on-line survey of all areas of the food industry (retailers, warehousers, transporters, growers, suppliers, manufacturers, and processors). The primary objective of the survey is to learn if food defense programs are affecting perceptions, awareness, and knowledge. Ultimately, the hope is provide feedback to the FDA about the effectiveness of these initiatives and how they might make such training programs even more effective.
