U.S. Leading Indicators Index Gains Most in Eight Months in Recovery Sign

The index of U.S. leading economic indicators increased in November by the most in eight months, a signal the recovery will strengthen early next year. The Conference Board’s gauge of the outlook for the next three to six months rose 1.1 percent after a revised 0.4 percent gain in October, the New York-based group said today. The reading matched the median forecast of economists surveyed by Bloomberg News.
