As you know, AWMA is currently focusing much effort on boosting distributor profitability. The AWMA /Hershey Industry Performance Analysis (HIPA) report provides crucial benchmarking data for measuring profitability in the convenience wholesale industry.  “It’s essential that we have strong participation from AWMA distributor members across the country,” said Scott Ramminger, AWMA President.

If you have not already done so, please take time this week to complete the HIPA survey and submit it, along with a copy of your income statement and balance sheet, to Profit Planning Group by May 1, 2008.  Remember:  In order to receive a copy of the HIPA report, you must be a participant.

If you have misplaced the HIPA mailing sent out in early March, simply access the survey by opening your browser and going to www.profitplanninggroup.com/surveys. You will find the “Financial Performance Surveys” list box and can select the “AWMA/Hershey” heading to download the survey questionnaire.
